Charity Event Set to Bring Las Vegas to Newcastle
Solutions Recruitment is set to bring Las Vegas to Newcastle at a charity evening in aid of the Greggs Foundation Breakfast Club.
We are an ongoing supporter of the Breakfast Club initiative and will be bringing the glitz and glamour of a Las Vegas Casino to the Biscuit Factory on Thursday, October 12.
Complete with roulette and blackjack tables, showgirls and top-class entertainment, the evening will begin at 7.30pm and will be open to professionals from across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
Charlie Grabham, operations director, said: “Greggs Foundation is our company charity and we’re delighted to be helping raise their profile through this event.
“We’ve seen first-hand the fantastic work which the foundation does for children below the poverty line and are proud to support them as our nominated charity. Our aim is to get as many companies to the venue as possible, so that they can see the amazing work this small team does across the UK.”
Charlie recently also completed the ‘Monte Carlo or Bust’ banger challenge in aid of the charity, raising more than £1,200 on a sponsored drive through France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Monaco.
Lynne Hindmarch, Greggs Breakfast Club Manager added: “We provide breakfasts for more than 26,500 children across the country every day but the demand for breakfast clubs is still high and we couldn’t provide them without the support of our partners.
“To date, we have 73 partners who generously cover the running costs of 178 breakfast clubs. With more partners we can support even more children in need.
“We’re extremely grateful to Solutions for the ongoing support they provide, and we’re thoroughly looking forward to the casino evening – which I’m sure will be enjoyed by all who attend.”
Tickets are priced at £60 per head or £500 per table of ten and include a welcome drink, informal dining and money for starting bets.
