We are delighted to announce September’s Consultant of the Month as… Adam Knox!
Adam has been with Solutions for the past 10 years and is an extremely valued member of the team.

1. Which office are you based at?
2. What’s your job title?
3. Which sectors do you work in and which is your favourite?
Technical and Engineering, with a preference towards mid-management roles in manufacturing and supply chain.
4. How did you get into recruitment?
I moved back home after university in Norwich and needed a job; a few friends had been working in recruitment and suggested I gave it a try as they thought I’d be a good fit – and here I am 12 years later!

6. What do you like most about working for Solutions?
The culture: Nurturing, collaborative and supportive, encouraging its employees to use their skills to best effect and allowing the freedom to do so.
Leadership: We have ambitious, determined, supportive and passionate leaders who try to get the best out of you, whilst also getting the best for the group in terms of our continued growth.
7. What do you find most challenging?
Keeping my shoes on.
8. What’s your top tip for clients/candidates?
Don’t overcomplicate the recruitment process, have a clear plan for the recruitment life cycle of each role.
Keep open and honest communication/feedback lines and trust the recruiter to provide a consultative resource, rather than transactional.
Clients should see recruiters as an extension of their own HR department and work effectively with us to provide as much information and internal insight as possible. This will ensure we truly understand the character and cultural fit of a company, which I believe is just as important as the requirements for technical skills and expertise.
9. And finally, how does it feel to be named Consultant of the Month?
Very humbling, I was shocked to be honest but delighted to be given such an honour.
