Training & Technical Support Specialist, Hertfordshire
Salary negotiable depending on experience

My client is a well established, hugely profitable, international manufacturing company who are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join their North London site.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering training to both customers and internal staff: Accredited technical training to internal & external customers on assigned devices and product lines.

– To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing responsive, high quality service, sales, training for the client’s products – To promote training, products and services l
– Represent specialised support on assigned devices / care area / product line
– Telephone, e-mail and other media support as appropriate to field support to int. / ext. customers
– Provide courses (prepare and perform training) & documentation for technical training both internal & external at required locations & customer sites
– Support technical corrective actions for own devices / care area / product line
– Identify specialist tools needed by service engineers or customers
– Responsible for problem solving within competency or escalation as appropriate 13. Assist Service Director or Business Development to assess prices of services (in discussion with marketing) based on required capacity, margin and competition 14. Maintains communication & documentation relevant to the quality system & process landscape
– Supports other departments with regard to technical aspects
– Involvement in management of incident reporting
– Internal training – products, updates on existing devices
– Complete off-site assessments as necessary to approve facilities

– Ideally degree level or Higher education certificate in related subject (or the equvalent relevant experience)
– Posses or be willing to attend a recognised teacher training program such as City & Guilds course 7302 or 6303 PTLLS & 6304 CTLLS, Post Graduate Certificate in Education or equivalent
– Customer focus with a positive attitude towards solving customer problems
– Ability to communicate professionally with customers and present a positive image of the company
– Excellent inter-personal skills from an instructional perspective
– Hold a valid CSCS card or similiar if duties require
– Full driving license.
– Undergo an enhanced CRB check
– Expertise in use of software applications such as MS Office
– Capacity to transfer knowledge to delegates
– Customer orientation
– Ability to organise and prioritise
