An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Solicitor with 6 years plus PQE to join the Serious Injury and Neurotrauma team of a leading national law firm based in Sheffield on a 12-month fixed maternity contract.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead the investigation and litigation of complex cases, working as part of a team to maximise our clients’ recovery through rehabilitation and securing damages to meet their needs and quality of life.
In your role as you will be responsible for your own caseload and supervising a paralegal or other support staff, to deliver an exceptional client experience, develop their technical expertise and meet agreed performance targets.
You will also be responsible for contributing to, participating and developing external relationships across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and the East Midlands with senior expert medical professionals and charities to provide an exceptional client experience and generate new cases.
To be successful in this role you must;
Have experience 6+ years Personal Injury litigation experience, ideally with some brain injury and/or spinal cord cases.
Have a strong appetite for business development, able to build successful relationships with senior expert medical professionals and charities. Existing contacts would be an advantage.
Be able to operate independently and as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and develop other team members.
Be able to supervise, and develop more junior members of the team. Previous people management experience would be an advantage.
Have excellent client care and inter-personal skills, operating with integrity and showing empathy and intuition.
