The Job Role
The main role will be to support the Commercial Account Manager to ensure the accurate and effective distribution of pricing across the business.
The role will involve the speedy but accurate delivery of excellent communication across all levels of seniority, ensuring that all requests are dealt with within a 24-hour time frame.
To analyse and issue pricing for the Commercial sales team as well as co-ordinating and analysing free of charge materials
Obtaining low level cost information and transfer prices.
Ensuring all low level cost information and transfer prices are kept confidential at all times.
Working to strict margins and authority levels set by the Senior Management Team.
Working with and issuing prices to the Commercial Sales Team.
Logging and analysing all free of charge product requests, requesting follow up information and issuing monthly reports on the findings.
To be aware and kept informed of the organizations product range, services and promotions;
General administrative duties including photocopying, invoicing, filing, dispatching and accepting mails and courier’s services (parcels). Typing will be required from time to time for various departments.
Other specific duties that may be required of the Commercial Pricing Assistant by the employer.

Specific Job Skills:
Effective communication skills, a good grasp of figures, good attention to detail, problem solving, the ability to deal with all levels of seniority in a responsible, tactful and respectful manner. Confidentiality is essential.
AS400/Webgate, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Good written and spoken communication skills and a firm grasp of figures are essential.
A minimum of two years administration experience.
Candidates must possess GCSE’s in Mathematics and English to grade C or equivalent and have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
