Commercial Coordinator Full Time

COMMERCIAL COORDINATOR required for the busy Industrial Materials dept. of our prominent North-east client.

This is a great opportunity and the role will include checking quotes, monitoring receipts, exchange rates, processing sales orders, dealing with inspection paperwork, building relationships (and portfolios!) with stakeholders, and the preparation and management of customer documentation requirements.

The successful applicant will have:-

  • a degree (or equivalent qualification) in a Business or Engineering discipline
  • Previous inside sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to develop effective relationships¬†with both customers and suppliers. And colleagues.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Computer literacy
  • The willingness to undertake training and development as required
  • An excellent standard of customer service skills

(Knowledge of Excel Macros, Pivot Tables and Oracle JD Edwards software would be advantageous, but is not a prerequisite)
