Our public sector client based in Stockton have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their busy team.
Pay rate £10.08
Hours Full-time Monday-Friday
To respond to enquiries across a range of service areas in an efficient, effective, sensitive and courteous manner. To ensure that customers are able to access the services and, where necessary, act as an advocate on the customer’s behalf. Undertake tasks that support and improve the performance of the Customer Services Division.
Experience of working within a team to provide a high standard of customer service.
Skills & Knowledge
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal politely, efficiently and courteously with a wide range of individuals.
Well-developed listening skills and the ability to assimilate information.
Ability to work as part of a team and to work independently.
General IT/keyboard/telephone skills.
Ability to record and process data accurately.
Successful candidates need to have Previous experience in Taxation and/or Housing Benefit is essential.
