Our public sector client based in Jarrow have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Support Officer to join their busy team.
Hours Full-time 8.30am to 5 pm
Pay rate £9.27 per hour
Purpose of the role
reviewing documentation held in tenancy files to ensure correct disposal and retention of information
You will provide an effective administrative and operational service to both housing staff and Managers. You will:
Deal with tenancy sign ups, terminations and general advice to tenants and residents.
Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Area Manager as required.
Work as part of the team and assist in covering the front line housing and area management office when necessary, giving housing and general advice where appropriate.
Undertake general administrative duties within the office including word processing, filing, post, application processing, photocopying etc.
Assist with customer telephone enquiries and provide a message taking service.
Provide IT support to officers in relation to document templates.
Maintain computerised record systems, including statistical information and produce reports where required.
A process, within target times, written, electronic and verbal requests for services.
Accurately maintain manual and electronic filing systems collating information when required.
Experience of working in a social housing area/office
Experience of working in housing frontline services, customer facing or over the telephone.
Experience of providing administrative and operational support, and/or reception duties.
Word processing/secretarial skills
Experience of dealing with customer enquiries either face to face or over the telephone.
Excellent computer skills.

Display a commitment to customer care.
Educated to GCSE (4) or relevant WPO Qualifications or willing to work towards
