Graduate Engineer Permanent

Our client, a major player in their field, are currently seeking a STEM graduate / Graduate Engineer for an exciting and rewarding role within their Cathodic Protection Engineering department.

This is an immediate start, and is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

Based here on Teesside, you will have the opportunity to travel UK wide and overseas, certainly within the first six months to a year.

The successful applicant will be interested in engineering and corrosion science, and will have a full UK driving licence, and a desire to travel extensively.

Working with a group of Engineers and Technologists, you will plan and perfom cathodic protection engineering duties in support of assigned projects. Your duties will be related to testing, evaluation and installation of cathodic protection systems.

These duties will include:

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities
  • Field & office based engineering aspects of design and installation processes
  • Prepare, review and edit engineering & maintenance reports; consult field staff regarding revisions in analysis, etc.
  • Perform test operations as required
  • Direct the preparation of field drawings, and assist in developing complete Cathodic Protection System designs
  • Participate in field surveys, & prepare client reports

Qualifications required:

  • Qualified to degree level with an engineering bias
  • AutoCAD knowledge
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Enthusiasm for overseas travel
