Purchase Ledger Manager Full Time

A fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Manager to join a popular leisure park in North Yorkshire.

The ideal candidate will have Purchase Ledger experience either in management or a supervisory capacity, you will be supervising a team who are processing a high volume of invoices for a number of different areas of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the daily purchase invoice processing – high volume
  • Maintain ledger accuracy
  • High value supplier payments
  • Company expense claim processing for senior staff
  • Inter-company invoicing
  • Dealing with any foreign currency invoices
  • Ensure invoice queries are investigated and resolve on a timely basis, handle complex supplier queries
  • Oversee supplier statement reconciliations to ensure payments can be made on a timely basis
  • Producing Excel spreadsheets? – pivot tables, v look ups, macros, formulas
  • Ensure that invoices are matched, batched and coded to correct purchase order numbers
  • Audit purchase ledger departments work
  • Payment runs – CHAPS/BACS/Cheque to suppliers – Daily/weekly/monthly
  • Month end duties
  • Clearing invoices or submitting to ledger
  • Chase outstanding credit balances
  • Ensure an up to date filing system is maintained
  •  Train new starters
