Purchasing Admin Full Time

Solutions Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a well-respected company based in the Sunderland area. The position is to work in the Purchasing Department.

Duties are to include:

Set up, manage and develop commercial supplier relationships including: lowering costs of supply for all raw materials procured.

Management of material budget including monitoring spend and highlight variances

Analysis data, issue reports and heavily monitor supplier performance to ensure suppliers meet and maintain performance levels

Deliver initiatives relating to cost down, cost avoidance and company cost recovery targets

Full Responsibility for quotation requests and tender analysis

Management of trial material orders and cost reduction initiatives

The successful candidate must have worked in a similar role, have a proactive attitude, be a member of CIPS or at least be working towards the qualification. In return our client can offer a professional working environment with excellent company benefits.
