Our client, a successful and growing business, based in Wetherby, have a very exciting opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor, to join a small commercial team. Working in a new state of the art office, the role will be working on projects across the North East, North and West Yorkshire area, with expectation of being on site once a week. Role / Responsibilities:
Building bespoke £250k value new build homes, our client is one of the areas leading house-builders, committed to the highest standards of design, construction and service. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial management of various small and large housing projects. You will report to the Commercial Manager, and will support and develop you in the way they operate.
Confident commercial management and the ability to value engineer subcontractor packages, whilst protecting the interests of the team and office.
Must have house building experience.
Roughly 5 years industry experience.
It is desirable that you have a relevant Surveying qualification, either an HND or degree or equivalent.
The housing industry certainly has a lot to offer at the moment, its booming and our client can offer consistency in future projects. With 8 years worth of work, our client, will be rapidly expanding over the next 6 months.
