Solutions Recruitment are representing a large firm of Chartered Accountants in the North East who are keen to appoint a senior member to their management team as they look at some key succession planning, with a view of the successful applicant developing to Partner within 18 months.
This firm has seen some fantastic growth in the past 3 years and significant changes to its senior management/ partner team. As this growth continues, the client base expands in volume and quality, and with the exciting plans they have for the firm there is a direct need to bolster their team at this senior level with somebody who can join them as an engaging and ambitious professional.
The role from the outset will entail engaging with a current portfolio of clients and leading the management of all their requirements from the firm. You will be looking for opportunities for the firm to advise the businesses across the multiple services they offer such as tax, CF, turnaround / recovery.
The ideal applicant will be working in a mid to senior management role already within the accountancy services profession and be fully qualified ACA/ ACCA (or equivalent). You will have experience in business development, ideally both with existing clients and prospective clients and although the role will be audit biased, you’ll have a solid understanding of the accounts production and review process. It is also desirable, though not essential that applicants would have some understanding around corporate tax and / or cloud based accounting packages.
