Solutions Recruitment are recruiting for a Personal Injury Support Team Leader to work for a large prestigious Law firm working in there Personal Injury Department based in Leeds on a 12 months fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
As a Support Team Leader, you will lead the Personal Injury Support Team for Leeds, ensuring appropriate support resources, operational processes and effective business controls are in place, whilst continuously improving the quality of support provided to improve client and business outcomes.
Lead a team of Litigation Assistants and Administrators to provide appropriate support for Case Handlers to deliver an outstanding client experience and remove non-chargeable administration from Case Handlers.
Work closely with Partners and Team Leaders to manage resourcing across the office
Proactively manage performance and development, appraisals, monthly review meetings, and team meetings across the support team.
Lead the support team to ensure case housekeeping is up to date.
Complete a monthly review and reconciliation of the Personal Injury cost centre reports and highlight any discrepancies or concerns to the General Manager.
Support the on-boarding of new team members and facilitate the completion of appropriate governance processes for joiners, movers and leavers.
Maintain the Personal Injury business continuity plan for the office.
Complete the renewal of professional memberships for Case Handlers.
Proactive diary management.
Attend key Personal Injury governance meetings, ensuring that accurate meeting minutes (where appropriate) and actions are captured.
Support the Regional Managing Partner and General Manager to collate regular reports on office performance and progress against strategic objectives.
Share best practice across the office and nationally where appropriate to continuously improve the quality of chargeable and non chargeable administrative support.
Operate locally as a change champion to support the development and roll-out of new support initiatives and operational processes.
Create a consolidated view of training plans within the office, supporting Learning & Development and Partners to schedule and deliver plans during the year.
Minimum of 4 GCSE, or equivalent
Admin based experience within a legal or professional services firm and supervisory/team leader responsibilities would be advantageous.
